Saturday Morning Beauty Salon

A Mother and Daughter Program

The Saturday Morning Beauty Salon is a program for girls ages 11 to 13 and their mothers.

 

Imagine yourself with your daughter
Resting...playing...laughing...singing...dancing...talking… sewing ...sharing...Planning

Imagine yourself celebrating your daughters special beauty
Helping her to see how wonderful she is
Watching her dream her future
Giving her the gift of your wisdom and strength

Imagine yourself being supported by other mothers and an experienced staff.  A place to get to know each other better. This program is Free.

The program focuses on reducing teenage pregnancy through increasing self-esteem and improving mother-daughter communication. Participants attend a series of six classes including a weekend retreat to the beach and a graduation ceremony.
