We really do all we can to help a women have a special and wonderful birthing experience.

I didn't think I could push my baby out.  I was begging for a C-Section.  My doula looked me in my eyes and said, "You can do this!" And I did!

Labor Support Services

Doula Program

The Birthing Project trains and certifies community women to become Doulas.  These doulas volunteers provided services to our patients. Doulas are women who provide support to a mother during labor, delivery, and the start of breastfeeding. Studies have shown that Doula support helps to shorten labor, reduce complications, improve mother-infant relationship, and ease the beginning of breastfeeding.
